Scrambled Eggs

The newest sensation sweeping the Davidson household! Kids scrambling their own eggs!

Raylee and Xander’s new favorite breakfast is to make their own. Xander already makes his own Coco Wheats in the microwave. But this summer I found online, a super simple way to make scrambled eggs in the microwave.

Here it is —

Take a shallow bowl, spray it with cooking spray, beat an egg, put it in the bowl with a tsp of butter and microwave it for 45 seconds.

Xander eats two eggs and it takes about 70 second for his.

This has made mornings so much easier on me! I don’t have to clean up pans from frying scrambled eggs either! The kids put their bowls in the dishwasher when they are done and I have virtually no mess to clean up.

It’s nice for my breakfast too. The 17 day diet that I have been “kind of” on suggested eggs for breakfast each morning, and this is a simple and easy way to get breakfast in. Most times I drink 2 cups of coffee while I am running around getting backpacks and shoes on all the kids.

Even Ezra and Zoe love scrambled eggs and this is a quick way to give them just the right amount to eat. 1 eggs is just about a perfect serving size for a 2 year old.
