Xander’s Volcano (5th grade, Mrs. Keown)

Xander made a volcano with extra vents for his 5th grade science project. I think it turned out really cool! He did an excellent job, with the help of his dad and Grandpa Ray.

Our raw materials, an old easter basket, rubber tubing, a gallon jug, a water bottle, and cardboard.

Grandpa and Xander, rigging the tubing, this became our “vent” in the volcano.

Xander got an A on his volcano, and the whole class got to watch him “blow it up” so to speak.

Overall, it was a fun experience.
