Raylee – 6 years

Raylee just finished her first chapter book last night!  It is Ivy and Bean.  Aunt Kristen and Uncle Ryan got her a set for Christmas.  She has loved reading them, and is so proud of herself for getting through the first one.  I have to admit I am pretty proud of her myself.

Raylee started 1st grade this year.  Last year was a challenge. She didn’t want to ride the bus, and she cried a lot.  This year has been MUCH better.  She has a lot of friends and she loves her teacher Mrs. Lashbrook.  I told her that I had Mrs. Lashbrook for 1st grade too and Raylee thought that was hilarious.  Her first spelling test will be Friday, we are studying hard!

Raylee is going to have a birthday in a few days, she will be 7.  So many changes for her are coming.  She is still bubbly and energetic, and she loves to help people.  She has a best friend, Alli Hammond.  Alli is just the opposite looking of Raylee.  “Like ying and yang” we call them.  But just inseperable.
