Peace Series – 1 David and Goliath

Teaching Wednesday night Bible class at church is one of my favorite parts of the week.

This set of lessons come from the YouTube channel Saddleback Kids.

In preparation for this series, I created a map with 6 land-forms and a path between them so we could “travel” each week to a new lesson.  The kids loved it.  I have also included the craft/activity to go with the lesson.  The lesson video includes a song at the opening, and then the “Adventures of Simon and Phil” episode, then it has the Bible verse song.  Our kids quickly picked up the Bible verses, “James 3:18!!!” The whole video is about 15 minutes.  So in a 30-minute class, you have just enough time to watch the video, recap the Bible lesson that was talked about in the video and do a simple craft like the one below.  Here’s the link to the printable for the craft.  Because God Helped David

There are 6 video lessons on PEACE that I am working my way through, I will post them all together when I am done.  It’s a great series and the kids love the puppets, music, and lesson.
